Thisby and Tek were married on the 27th of July in a music filled ceremony in front of family and friends. The bride and groom had been to the flower markets the day before and hand-picked some of the most stunning flowers we’d ever seen to decorate the church, the reception, as well as the gorgeous bridal party themselves. In front of their loved ones and God, Thisby and Tek made their vows in Burwood Presbyterian Church and followed the beautiful ceremony with an afternoon tea of macarons, cupcakes, and pretty much all things good. The party then moved to the elegant pier location of Simmer on the Bay, where they had hung branches and lights from the ceiling over the long guest banquet tables. An intimate tea ceremony with family started the night and afterwards the guests were divided into their Hogwarts house for seating. The reception involved so many little sweet touches like a surprise song sung by Thisby for her new husband, as well as a beautiful presentation by Tek which probably won him many “best new husband” awards already.
Thank you so much to Thisby and Tek for allowing us to be a part of their day. It was wonderful to witness two people so in love and so in tune with each other take their vows and we know there is nothing but greatness in your future together. x
